Harmindar Singh joins Avian Media as Group Business Director

New Delhi, May 12, 2011: Avian Media, a specialist communication consultancy, announced the appointment of Harmindar Singh as their Group Business Director. In his current role, Singh will ensure a business plan that is understood and implemented across regional operations and practices. He will also act as strategic counselor to clients, besides giving directions to teams on campaign plans.

Singh has 14 years of experience in Branding & Strategic Communication. He has had significant experience working across a wide range of sectors, including audit, consulting and financial advisory, defence and aviation, consumer market, media and entertainment, information technology, financial services, liquor, retail & lifestyle, pharmaceutical and healthcare and education.

Prior to Avian, Singh was President (Operations) at Integral PR for over 6 years working out of Mumbai and Delhi offices. He was responsible for new business development, gave strategic support to clients, worked on relationship building and management and liasoned with global business partners, besides handling a host of other functions. He worked with a diverse set of clients, including KPMG, Deloitte, IFC, Reckitt Benckiser India, Emirates Airline, Air Arabia, Air Asia, Club One Air, Audi, Samsung (Consumer, Telecom and Corporate), Philips Electrolux (Consumer Durable and Home Appliances), Guardian Healthcare, Coca Cola, Mars India (Pedigree, Mars, Whiskas, Snickers) and Bhilwara Energy Ltd.

Girish Huria appointed as Chief Operating Officer at Avian Media

Having moved from auditing books of accounts to communications, Girish enjoys working with clients across diverse sectors.
